Adorable characters!
The book starts with a little refresher on stitches and techniques with nice big, bold and clear diagrams. The book itself is easy to follow, the designs are simple and the instructions are concise.
I like that the pages aren't overly busy as this makes it easier to read. The pictures are clear, bright and fun!
Good price and a nice addition to my craft library!

This book is so sweet, It's a lovely size nice and compact but a solid Hardback so pretty sturdy.
Instructions are all written in UK terms in case that's important for you. The book also makes is super clear what techniques are used (including specific dc type). I am an intermediate crocheter so I can easily understand but I think its pretty suitable for a beginner.
Clear patterns and instructions and really fun modern projects. It's good value for money and will look great on a bookshelf too. All I need now is the time to make them all.
Highly recommended!

Amigurumi lovers, rejoice! Pattern developer Vindevogel has shared the skills she learned from her grandmother in this accessible, fantastic collection of adorable crochet animals. From a whale in a sailor hat and a karate-kicking pig to a polar bear and reindeer in winter sweaters, each animal has a name and a dash of whimsy. The photos showcase the creations unique stories, but this isnt just a celebration of Vindevogels designs: its an invitation for people to play around with new techniques, all carefully explained in the pattern and technique notes. With both metric and U.S. measurements, the only thing the book is missing is guidance on sewing each animal together without creating top-heavy wobbliness.
Playful yet detailed, the 10 animal friends Vindevogel presents are sure to delight both the crocheter and the recipient of the fun, unfussy creatures, which come to life as easily on the crochet hook as they do in the book.
