This is another lovely book by the talented Niina Latinen. I already own her previous sock book so couldnt wait to get my hands on this one. Another 20 beautiful sock patterns inspired by all four corners of the globe.
There are different skill levels required but all have very clear instructions and charts which could be photocopied, enlarged and marked when using if necessary.
I think my favourites so far are Hanami cherry blossom socks, the Taj Mahal ones knitted in double knitting yarn, Skyfall and The Eiffel Tower socks named Under Parisian Skies. Too many to choose from really.

Wow what can I say, this book is an absolute inspiration, with beautiful illustrations and easy to follow charts. I have to say I'm quite new to sock knitting so I'm going to start with the desert sands socks and hopefully get more confident to stitch some of the beautiful fair isle designs.

I am an avid sock knitter and was excited to review this book with the simple title Knitted Socks. The included socks range from ankle length up to knee length and the contents page has useful illustrations of each sock. The book has an attractive cover and contains 20 gorgeous patterns inspired by places around the world. [...]
In the introductory pages, abbreviations are clearly explained with instructions for techniques that may not be commonly encountered, for example 'yarn over from front'. There is also a useful page of knitting tips, which would help guide a less experienced sock knitter, together with a guide to sock yarn weights [...]
Instructions are clearly laid out with a good level of detail and charts are clear and easy to follow, being carefully colour-coded for both colourwork and stitch patterns. [...]
I love making socks and found this book very inspiring. [...] There are some beautiful patterns to be created and the book provides good value for its quality and the number of patterns included.
