A collection of small patchwork gifts which can be made in a day. Each project clearly shows the level of skill needed to complete each project. A good book for an older child to do on their own or for an adult to make with a younger child. Brightly illustrated most projects can be made from scraps of fabric.

Part of the popular Love to Sew series. These books are ideal for beginners since they provide easy projects that make great gifts for friends and family alike. They are colourful books with easy to follow instructions. This book has 20 fun projects with templates where needed. I like the Owl, Tape Measure Cover, Diary Cover, Laptop Cover and Mug rugs and more. This book has been translated from the German book Patch Happy. It would make a nice present for someone starting to sew.

Doesn't the cover of this book just make you feel happy. All of the projects in this book give a similar effect. The projects are suitable for beginners right through to more advanced. With twenty different project to work on there will be something to keep you occupied. I love the colour theme all the way through the book but I could also imagine in a colour scheme that would match my décor. The book is full of inspirational projects that would make brilliant presents as well as items for your own house. Each of the patterns are clearly explained and pictures are supplied where needed. All the patterns are included at the back of the book. I've just picked my favourites out of the book. I'm sure you'll find even more when you see the hole book. The projects are varied, fun and interesting. What would you make first? http://www.crochetaddictuk.com/2014/06/love-to-sew-simple-patchwork-gifts-book.html
